Remove caps, seed lists and seeds from the peppers. Cut them in quarter lengthwise. Cut these pieces in width.

Pour the oil into a bowl. Roll all the cut vegetables and the mushrooms through the oil so that everything is covered with a thin layer.

Baste the vegetables in random order to skewers.

Put the skewers on the barbecue and turn them regularly during roasting. Make sure that the charcoal is gray in color. This prevents the skewers from catching fire. The vegetables are slowly cooked through the heat without blackening. The roasting time is approximately 15 minutes.
