Directions

  1. Preheat the oven grill. Divide the banana and kiwi slices over the baking sheet. Sprinkle the nuts and cane sugar over it.
  2. Mix the syrup with the rum and spread this mixture over the fruits with the nuts. Do not place the baking sheet too close to the oven grill for 3-4 minutes until the sugar has melted and is lightly caramelised.
  3. Roast the waffles lightly in a toaster or put them under the oven grill.
  4. Mix the cream with the crème fraiche and ginger powder. Spread the fruit mixture over the waffles and serve the cream.
