Walnut pesto at the cheese board
Grind the parsley, thyme, capers, to, garlic and orange peel in a food processor.
Pour in the olive oil while the machine is running and add the walnuts. Grind very briefly until the nuts are coarsely ground.
Spoon the pesto into a bowl and stir in the Parmesan cheese. Season the pesto with salt and freshly ground pepper.
Serve the pesto with various cheeses, from mild to strong, on a large shelf.
