Warm sweet and sour cucumber
A tasty recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: garlic, fresh ginger root, red wine, sweet soy sauce, brown caster sugar, chili sauce, Indonesian onion herbs (can), fresh coriander (15 g) and cucumbers.

Slice garlic and cut into slices.

Peel the ginger and cut into pieces.

In saucepan, bring 1 dl of water with wine, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, caster sugar, chilli sauce, herbs and 2/3 of coriander to the boil.

Roast gently for 10 minutes on low heat.

Meanwhile, wash cucumbers, halve in length and scrape seeds out with teaspoon.

Cut cucumbers into bows of approx.

2 cm thick.

Sift-acid marinade and put back in pan.

Add cucumber pieces and simmer for approx.

3 minutes.

Cut the rest of coriander finely.

Cucumber with marinade in bowl.

Sprinkle coriander over it.

Serve with oriental dishes..
