Cocktail from sugar, watermelon and beer IPA.

Ingredients
Directions

Put the sugar with the water in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Turn off the heat when the sugar is dissolved.

Cut the watermelon into pieces and cut the flesh from the skin. Put the flesh in a high bowl and add the sugar syrup.

Purée smoothly with the hand blender.

Put the melon puree in a freezer and let it freeze for at least 6 hours. Stir after 90 minutes with a fork and then repeat every 30 min.

Divide the watermelon granita over tall glasses and fill with the beer.
