Winter fruit from the wok
A tasty Dutch recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: walnuts (coarsely chopped), frizzy apples ((eg Elstar), peeled and sliced), firm hand-pears (peeled and sliced), lemon juice, (brown) caster sugar, apple juice, cinnamon powder, raisins and butter.

Drizzle the slices of apple and pear with lemon juice.

Heat the butter in a stirring stir fry the fruit for 1 min.

On medium heat.

Sprinkle the sugar over it and let it melt with stirring.

Add the apple juice, cinnamon and raisins and let it simmer for 2 minutes.

Stir in the walnuts from the heat.

Serve immediately, eg with a scoop of sour cream and cinnamon wafers..
