Winter fruit from the wok


A tasty Dutch recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: walnuts (coarsely chopped), frizzy apples ((eg Elstar), peeled and sliced), firm hand-pears (peeled and sliced), lemon juice, (brown) caster sugar, apple juice, cinnamon powder, raisins and butter.

Directions

  1. Drizzle the slices of apple and pear with lemon juice.
  2. Heat the butter in a stirring stir fry the fruit for 1 min.
  3. On medium heat.
  4. Sprinkle the sugar over it and let it melt with stirring.
  5. Add the apple juice, cinnamon and raisins and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Stir in the walnuts from the heat.
  7. Serve immediately, eg with a scoop of sour cream and cinnamon wafers..
