2x winter toast
A tasty recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: bread (boule beurre, sliced), butter (at room temperature), sauerkraut ((a 500 g), drained), Chinese (voice ginger (pot of 240 g), finely chopped), caraway seed, cheddar (tophat 48 (cheese), sliced), dried (figs (bag 250 g), in strips), goat cheese (honey 45 (Bettine Blanc)) and dried thyme.

Ingredients
- 1 bread boule beurre, cut
- 40 g butter at room temperature
- Bag sauerkraut (a 500 g), drained
- 2 balls Chinese stem ginger (jar 240 g), finely chopped
- 1 tl caraway seed
- 150 g Cheddar tophat 48 (cheese), sliced
- 6 dried figs (bag 250 g), in strips
- 125 g goat cheese honey 45 (Bettine Blanc)
- 1 tl dried thyme

Preheat the oven to 220 ° C. Brush 12 slices of bread thinly on both sides with butter. Let the sauerkraut drain. Add the voice ginger and pepper to taste. Divide the sauerkraut over 3 slices of bread. Sprinkle the caraway seed over it. Put the Cheddar on it and cover with 3 more slices of bread.

Divide the figs over 3 slices of bread. Crumble the goat cheese over it and sprinkle with the thyme. Cover with the last 3 slices of bread.

Fry the 6 sandwiches on a rack in the top of the oven for about 10 minutes until golden brown or until the cheese has melted. Halve them and insert a tapas stick.
