American pancakes with apple compote and bacon


A tasty american recipe. The lunch contains the following ingredients: medium hand orange, white caster sugar and medium-sized egg.

Directions

  1. Heat a frying pan without oil or butter and bake the bacon. Drain on kitchen paper.
  2. Meanwhile, halve the vanilla pod in the length and scrape out the vanilla with the tip of a knife.
  3. Grate the orange skin of the scrubbed orange and squeeze out the fruit.
  4. Put the vanilla and stick, the orange zest and juice, the sugar and 80 g butter in a saucepan and melt the sugar on low heat.
  5. Meanwhile, cut the apples into quarters and remove the cores. Cut the quarters into quarters.
  6. Slice the apricots.
  7. Add the apricots with the apples to the butter mixture and simmer for 15 minutes on low heat.

  12. Remove the compote from the heat, remove the vanilla pod and serve with the pancakes and the bacon.
