A nice English recipe. The dessert contains the following ingredients: apples (in thin segments), lemon juice, cinnamon, sugar, eggs, milk, sugar bread (or currant bread (old)) and butter (in flakes).

Directions

  1. Mix the apple wedges with lemon juice, cinnamon and 2 tbsp sugar.
  2. Beat the eggs, milk and the rest of the sugar together in a measuring cup.
  3. Put 2 slices of bread in the greased oven dish. Pour 1/2 part of the milk mixture. Put half of the apple on it. Now make a layer of 3 slices of bread, 1/2 part of the milk mixture and the rest of the apple. Put the last 3 slices of bread on top and pour the rest of the milk mixture over it. Place the flakes of butter on the top.
  4. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Place the dish on the grid in the middle of the oven and fry the pudding for about 30 minutes. Serve the pudding lukewarm. Delicious with lightly rolled cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
