Preheat the oven to 175 ºC.

Stir the butter gently. Strain the flour. Peel the apples and remove the core. Cut the apples into 8 pieces.

Split the eggs and whisk the egg whites. Mix the butter, Canderel and milk in a large bowl.

Add the egg yolks and mix well. Gradually add the flour and mix into a smooth batter. Fold the stiffly whisked egg whites through.

Grease the cake mold and sprinkle with the flour. Put the dough into the mold and push the pieces of apple into the dough.

Bake the cake for about 50 minutes.
