Apricots with mint, cinnamon and orange
A nice Mediterranean recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: orange, apricot (halved), mint, cinnamon stick (in pieces) and sugar.

Wash pot in hot soda water, rinse with boiling water and allow to dry on clean dishcloth.

To clean the orange, thinly peel and cut the skin into pieces (orange is not used).

Arrange apricots with sprigs of mint, cinnamon stick and orange peel strips.

Bring 1/2 liter of water to the boil in pan and roast sugar in it.

Pour the sugar syrup over apricots into pots, until 2 cm below the edge.

Close the pot.

Put pot in pan and pour water into pan until halfway pot.

Boil water and boil for 20 minutes.

Remove pot from pan, allow to cool and store in the dark place for max.

6 months.

After opening the apricots can be stored in the refrigerator for a few days.
