Asparagus with green herb sauce
Asparagus with potatoes, steak and a sauce of green herbs.

Peel the potatoes and cook until cooked in 20 min. Bring water with 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp sugar to the boil in an asparagus pan or a large pan. Cut the woody ends of the asparagus. Peel them from just under the head and cook until cooked in 15 min.

Bring the water with the sauce powder to the boil while stirring. In the meantime, cut the butter into lumps. Stir in the butter through the sauce. Sprinkle the steaks with salt and pepper.

Heat the rest of the butter in a frying pan and fry the steaks 2-3 min. Per side, to the desired doneness. Slice the leaves of the parsley and basil and stir in the sauce. Add some water if the sauce is too thick.

Serve the asparagus with sauce, potatoes and steak.
