Atjar bean sprouts
A delicious indonesian recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: bean sprouts, red pepper, carrot (grated), natural vinegar, garlic (pressed), ginger powder and sugar.

Wash the taugé in the sieve and let it drain.

Cut pepper by half and remove any seeds.

Cut pepper into strips and then into pieces.

Mix in the bean sprouts, carrot and pepper.

Brix the vinegar, 300 ml water, garlic, 1 tsp salt, ginger and sugar to the boil.

Cook until sugar has dissolved completely while stirring.

Do not hang with face above pan and breathe, that causes a burning sensation.

Pour the vinegar mixture over vegetables and allow the atjar to cool.

Enclosed sealed in clean glass jars or plastic storage boxes, atjar can be kept in the fridge for several days..
