Directions

  1. Spread a large piece of baking paper on a baking sheet.
  2. Heat the caster sugar with the pouring syrup, butter and 40 ml water in a wide, high pan with a thick bottom and let the sugar melt while stirring.
  3. Bring the mixture to the boil and let it boil for 2-3 minutes until it becomes a thick syrup.
  4. Remove from the heat, stir in the cinnamon and popcorn and mix everything until the popcorn is covered with the syrup.
  5. Then put the popcorn mixture on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper and divide the mixture into about 30 kibbles.
  6. Allow the crunch to cool down until the caramel is firm.
