Halve the avocado, scoop the flesh out of the peel into a bowl, add the lime juice and fine with a fork.

Beat with the fork the yoghurt, garlic, basil and to taste chilli powder and salt through it. Cover the dip well with cling film and allow the flavors to absorb in about 1 hour.
