Bacon patties with beans in paprika sauce

A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, potatoes (pommes scoop (bag a 1 1/2 kg), halved), bacon patties (400 g), green beans (cleaned), snow peas ((200 g), cleaned), butter or margarine , onion (chopped) and red pepper (chopped).

Directions

  1. Boil the potatoes in little water with a little salt until about 25 minutes (and store 100 ml of cooking water if necessary). Fry the seasoned bacon patties according to the instructions on the package. Cook the green beans and snow peas just about 7 minutes.
  2. Remove the bacon strips from the frying pan and keep them warm under aluminum foil. Fry in the shortening, with some extra butter or margarine, the onion and the bell pepper for 2 minutes. Stir in about 100 ml (potato boiling) water and bring the pepper sauce to the boil.
  3. Drain the beans and the potatoes and spoon them on 4 plates, place the bacon patties and scoop the pepper sauce over it.
