Bacon skewers with orange tomato sauce

Thread the bacon strips lengthwise with satay sticks and sprinkle the meat with salt and pepper.

Heat the butter and fry the bacon for about 15 minutes until golden brown and done. Turn around regularly.

Press out 2 oranges. Peel the remaining oranges thick and cut them without the white into slices.

Remove the meat from the pan and cover. Add the orange juice, chilli sauce and sifted tomatoes to the shortening. Bring to the boil and bind with a tie. Season with salt and pepper.

Serve the bacon skewers with the sauce and slices of orange.

Tasty with (yellow) rice and broccoli.
