Bacon steaks with onion chutney
A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, onions, oil, green peppers mild (pot), brown caster sugar, white wine vinegar, salt and bacon patties without rind.

Peel onions and cut into thin rings. Heat oil in pan and cook onion rings gently for about 2 minutes. Chop peppers. Add sugar, vinegar and pepper to onions and simmer for about 20 minutes until the onions are soft and thickened. Regularly shovel. Season the onion chutney with salt and leave to cool.

Cut bacon strips into strips and string them in zigzag shape on satésticks. Speklap skewers on hot barbecue in 10 to 15 minutes around brown and brown and serve with onion chutney. Serve with roasted potatoes and chive cream.
