Banana with chocolate and basil


A tasty recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: bananas, fresh basil (a 15 g), extra bitter chocolate and chocolate mousse (500 g).

Directions

  1. Remove the skin from the bananas and cut each banana diagonally into 4 long slices.
  2. Pick the leaves of basil from the stalks and cut them into wafer-thin strings.
  3. Break the chocolate over a saucepan into pieces and let the chocolate melt over very low heat while stirring.
  4. The chocolate may not cook; take the pan off the fire if it goes too fast! Or break the chocolate over a heat-resistant bowl into pieces, hang the bowl in a large pan with low boiling water (note: bottom of bowl and pan should not touch each other) and let the chocolate melt slowly.
  5. Dip the slices of banana half in the warm chocolate and put them on a plate for a moment.
  6. Sprinkle some basil strips over the chocolate and let the chocolate harden.
  7. Spoon the chocolate mousse into four wide glasses and place the pieces of banana with the chocolate side facing up..
