Strawberry rifle with white chocolate cream


Typical English dessert with strawberries, cookies, dessert wine, yoghurt and white chocolate whipped cream.

Directions

  1. Bring a pot of water to the boil.
  2. Meanwhile cut the strawberries into slices. Remove the leaves from the fresh mint and chop the chocolate into pieces.
  3. Place a slightly smaller bowl or pan in the pan with water, which should not touch the water. Let the chocolate melt in it (au bain-marie).
  4. Put the whipped cream in a bowl and beat with a mixer almost stiff. Fold in the yogurt and melted chocolate.
  5. Divide 1/3 of the biscuits with the chocolate side down over the bottom of the dish and drizzle with 1/3 of the wine.
  6. Divide 1/3 of the chocolate cream and then 1/3 of the strawberries.
  7. Make 2 more layers with the rest of the biscuits, wine, chocolate cream and strawberries.
  8. Cover the trifle with cling film and put in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  9. Garnish the top of the trifle just before serving with the coin.
