Basic recipe to bake steak


A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, steaks (at room temperature), olive oil and butter.

Directions

  1. Dab the steaks dry with kitchen paper and sprinkle with (freshly ground) pepper.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a frying pan.
  3. Allow two steaks to slide into the pan as the butter starts to color and the foam is pulled away.
  4. Fry the meat on high heat for 1 minute on both sides.
  5. Moderate the heat and fry the steaks for another 2-6 minutes, depending on how well you want them.
  6. Turn the meat regularly.
  7. Remove the steaks from the pan, wrap them in aluminum foil and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Repeat with the remaining two steaks.
  9. Sprinkle the steaks with salt and serve..
