Basic recipe to bake steak
A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, steaks (at room temperature), olive oil and butter.

Dab the steaks dry with kitchen paper and sprinkle with (freshly ground) pepper.

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a frying pan.

Allow two steaks to slide into the pan as the butter starts to color and the foam is pulled away.

Fry the meat on high heat for 1 minute on both sides.

Moderate the heat and fry the steaks for another 2-6 minutes, depending on how well you want them.

Turn the meat regularly.

Remove the steaks from the pan, wrap them in aluminum foil and let them rest for 5 minutes.

Repeat with the remaining two steaks.

Sprinkle the steaks with salt and serve..
