Boil the rice according to the instructions on the package. Peel the potatoes, cut into cubes of 1 1/2 cm and cook in 10 min. Until al dente.

In the meantime, cut the steak into cubes of 1.5 cm. Heat the rice oil in a stirring stir fry the meat in 2 min. Brown. Take out the wok.

Chop the shallots. Slice the garlic. Cut and grate the ginger. Heat the rest of the oil in the stir-fry stir-fry the ginger, shallot and garlic 1 min. Add the curry paste and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.

Add the potato, steak, coconut milk and the cinnamon stick and bring to the boil. Season with the fish sauce and sugar. Serve with the rice. Delicious with stir-fried bok choy and cashew nuts.
