Sprinkle the beef with salt, pepper and flour. Fry the meat cubes around brown in the oil.

Add the curry powder, garlic, onion and red pepper and fry briefly.

Pour the coconut milk, 100 ml warm water and the lemon juice, bring to the boil and simmer for 1.5 hours with the lid on the pan. Stir occasionally.

Meanwhile, cook the rice and peas.

Sprinkle the beef stew with the coriander and serve with the rice and peas.
