Brussels Sprouts With Bacon
A tasty Dutch recipe. The side dish contains the following ingredients: meat, Brussels sprouts (cleaned), Zeeland bacon (in very small pieces), garlic and mascarpone (fresh cream cheese).

Boil the sprouts in water with salt in approx. 12 min. Until done. Pour the vegetables well. Stamp the sprouts with the puree pestle into a coarse puree.

In the meantime, heat the oil in a frying pan and gently fry the bacon. Press just before the bacon is crispy, the cloves of garlic above the pan.

Mix the mascarpone, the bacon with the fat and pepper to taste through the puree. Nice with stew, game and shoulder chops.
