Brussels sprouts in cream cheese sauce
A tasty Dutch recipe. The vegetarian main course contains the following ingredients: quick cooking brown rice, onion, butter or margarine, cleaned Brussels sprouts (a 400 g), vegetable stock tablet, fresh parsley (a 30 g), fresh cream cheese with garlic (150 g) and grated spicy cheese (bag a 100 g).

Cook rice according to instructions.

Peel and chop onions.

Heat butter in a frying pan.

Sprout onions for about 3 minutes.

Add sprouts and bake for about 2 minutes.

Add bouillon tablet and 150 ml water and cook the sprouts covered over medium heat for about 10 minutes.

Parsley finely cut.

Cream cheese and grated cheese with sprouts and bring to the boil while stirring.

Parsley through sprouts, season with salt and pepper.

serve sprouts with rice..
