Casserole of chipolata sausage with lettuce

A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, chipolata sausages (360 g), mashed potatoes (with butter advantage scale (800 g)), olive oil, winter carrot (bag a 1 kg), lettuce (leaves torn), cucumber (in half slices), mayonnaise and mustard.

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 ° C. Put the sausages in a saucepan, pour in so much warm water that they are underneath and bring them to a boil. Cook them for 1 minute. Spoon the mashed potatoes into the baking dish and spread the mash evenly. Press the sausages side by side in the puree. Brush the sausages and puree with olive oil and slide the bowl in the oven for 20 minutes, or until the puree gets golden brown dots.
  2. Peel the winter carrot (s) and grate them on the coarse grater. Mix the lettuce, the cucumber and the carrot in a salad bowl. Beat a dressing of mayonnaise, mustard to taste, some water and salt and pepper to taste and mix them shortly before serving by the lettuce. Serve the oven dish with the salad.
