Cauliflower with cheese sauce and cumin
A tasty Dutch recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: cauliflower (about 800 g), butter, flour, ground cumin (djinten), whole milk, freshly ground black pepper and ground aged cheese (bag of 150 g).

Cut leaf and thick stump of cauliflower and turn cauliflower upside down in pan with plenty of boiling water and salt.

Cauliflower in 15-20 min.

Cooking (doneness is best to test by sticking the fork in the stump).

Melt butter in saucepan.

Add flour and 1 tsp cumin and bake for 1 min with a wooden spoon.

Do not pour milk into the pan for a dash and keep stirring until the sauce is tied.

Season with salt and pepper.

Stir in thick sauce for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.

Heat the remainder of cumin gently in the saucepan until it smells, then immediately take a pan of fire.

Melt the cheese in a sauce with stirring.

Drain the cauliflower and place in a warm dish.

Add cheese sauce and sprinkle with roasted cumin.

Pepper a little pepper above it.

Nice with meatball or bratwurst..
