Celery paste with meatballs


A tasty Italian recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, celery, spaghetti, olive oil, Dutch beef meatballs (360 g), red onion (in half rings), orange (scrubbed), garlic (finely chopped), black olives (in slices (pot of 240 g) ) and drained).

Directions

  1. Cut the stalks of the celery into bows and the leaves into strips. Keep separate from each other. Cook the spaghetti according to the instructions on the package. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a frying pan and fry the meatballs in 10 min. Golden brown and done.
  2. In the meantime, heat the remaining oil in a frying pan and fry the onion for 1 min. Add the celery sticks and cook for 4 minutes. Meanwhile, grate the orange zest of the orange and squeeze out the fruit. Add the grater, juice, garlic and olives to the celery. Bake for 1 min and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the spaghetti and scoop. Divide over 4 deep plates and add the meatballs. Sprinkle with the strips of celery leaves.
