Cheese board pie


Dessert for the Christmas menu: a cake of two types of cheese; camembert and brie with pear, rosemary, figs and honey.

Directions

  1. Remove the brie from the refrigerator and halve immediately.
  2. Peel the pears and cut into pieces the size of a die.
  3. Heat the butter in a frying pan and fry the pear over medium heat in 5 min. Soft and light golden brown.
  4. Ris the leaves of the rosemary and add with the honey the last minute of the baking time to the pears. Allow the mixture to cool.
  5. Heat another frying pan and toast the almonds to a low heat until golden brown.
  6. Cover the lower half of the brie with the pear mixture. Place the top half of the brie on it.
  7. Place the camembert in the middle, like a cake layer.
  8. Cut the figs into quarters and place on them.
  9. Sprinkle the top with the rest of the honey. Sprinkle the almonds over it and garnish with the other sprig of rosemary.
