Directions
-
Preheat the oven grill to the highest setting.
-
Crumble the blue cheese and halve the slices of young cheese.
-
Mix the ground beef with some freshly ground pepper and the finely crumbled blue cheese and knead everything well.
-
Divide the minced meat into 4 equal pieces and form into hamburgers.
-
Brush the burgers thinly with olive oil and fry the bottom in a hot grill pan in 3 minutes until nice brown.
-
Turn the burgers with a spatula and divide the slices of tomato and gherkin and the onion rings over it.
-
Place a slice of cheese on top and fry the hamburgers with a lid on the pan for 3-4 minutes until just tender and the cheese will melt.
-
In the meantime, place the cut-up rolls with the cutting edges upwards on the grill grid and grill them for 10 minutes under the hot grill element for 1-2 minutes until they just start coloring.
-
Place the bottom of the buns on plates and put a leaf of lettuce and a hamburger and some wafer-thin onion rings.
-
