Chicken in dough with onion and lemon
A tasty recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: poultry, butter (melted), onions (in thin segments), chicken breast strips, fresh Italian herbs (finely chopped), eggs, whipped cream (23% fat), lemon (scrubbed) and filo pastry (thawed).

Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Heat 2 tbsp butter in a frying pan and fry the onion for 5 minutes. Stir in the chicken strips, herbs and salt and pepper and simmer for about 4 minutes. Allow this mixture to cool slightly.

Stir the eggs and cream into a measuring cup with salt and pepper to taste. Grate the zest of the lemon over the cream mixture.

Halve the sheets of filo pastry. Brush 4 half sheets with melted butter and place each in a mold. Brush again 4 half sheets with butter and put them an eighth turn on the previous one. Repeat with the remaining 8 half sheets.

Divide the chicken and onions over the trays. Pour the cream mixture on top and fold the dough loosely over it. Place the molds on the grid in the middle of the oven and bake the tarts in about 25 minutes until golden brown and done. Delicious with a tomato salad.
