Prepare the chicken stock according to the instructions. Heat the chicken broth with the leek and cook gently for 5 minutes.

Meanwhile, roast the slices of bacon in a dry, hot skillet until crispy or do this in the microwave at 400 Watt for 2 minutes.

Crumble the bacon and sprinkle with the parsley just before serving over the soup. Tasty with rye bread.
