Directions

  1. Sprinkle the chicken with salt and freshly ground pepper and fry the bolts around brown in the olive oil.
  2. Add the onion and garlic and fry them.
  3. Add the cinnamon, ginger and bouillon tablets and pour in just as much water that the chicken is half underneath. Slowly simmer for about 25 minutes with the lid on the pan.
  4. Spoon the apples and plums, pour in a little water if necessary and simmer for about 15 minutes.
  5. Roast the almonds in a dry, hot frying pan until light brown. Sprinkle them before serving over the dish.
  6. Tasty with rice or couscous and green beans or peas.
