Cut the chicken into pieces. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the chicken for 3 minutes on medium heat.

Meanwhile cut the garlic into slices and the tomatoes into cubes. Add to the chicken and cook for another 2 minutes.

Add the grilled vegetables to the chicken, put the lid on the pan and simmer for 8 minutes on medium heat. Scoop occasionally.

In the meantime, heat the mashed potatoes in the microwave according to the instructions on the package.

Spread the stew and mashed potatoes over 4 deep plates, garnish with the basil.
