Chicken stew with leek and bacon
A nice Mediterranean recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: poultry, smoked bacon cubes (duobac 250 g), chicken drumsticks (approx. 575 gr), onion (in small parts), leeks (in pieces of about 2 cm), Italian (herbs (pot 12 g) )), raisins (bag 500 g), potatoes (Pommes Culinair (bag 1 1/2 kg) and cleaned and halved).

Bake the bacon cubes gently in a frying pan.

Take them out of the pan with a slotted spoon.

Bake the chicken drumsticks around brown in the bacon fat.

Take them out of the pan.

Stir fry the onion and the leek for 3 minutes.

Pour 250 ml of water and bring it to the boil.

Add the herbs, the raisins and the bacon cubes, scoop the chicken back into the pan and simmer the chicken until done in 20 minutes.

Boil the potatoes according to the instructions on the packaging, pour them off and sprinkle with salt.

Serve the potatoes with the chicken stew..
