Chicken with apple sauce
A tasty Dutch recipe. The side dish contains the following ingredients: poultry, apples (fresh sweet (eg breaburn), peeled), sugar, chicken legs (without back (1 kg)), paprika, garden peas (extra fine (450 g, frozen)) and butter.
Remove the bell house from the apples and cut into pieces. Put in a pan with 50 ml of water and the sugar. Leave to simmer on low heat for 25 minutes.
In the meantime, preheat the oven to 175 ° C. Sprinkle the chicken legs with the paprika powder and salt and pepper. Lay with the skin side down in the oven dish. Roast in the middle of the oven for about 45 minutes until golden brown and done. Turn the chicken after 20 min.
Boil the frozen garden peas in 3 minutes until al dente. Drain and mix in the butter. Season with salt and pepper.
