  1. Let the chicken come to room temperature. Remove the elastic that holds the legs together. Preheat the oven to 175 ° C. Sprinkle the chicken with pepper. Pull the bread into pieces and cut 6 slices of bacon into pieces. Mix the bread with the pieces of bacon, garlic, rosemary and 2 tbsp oil. Fill the cavity of chicken with it. Brush the chicken with the remaining oil and cover with the remaining bacon.
  2. Place the chicken breast down in the frying pan and place the pan in the middle of the oven. Baste the chicken with the shortening every 20 min. Turn over the chicken after 45 minutes.
