Chickpeas with tomato sauce
A tasty recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: onion, garlic, red pepper, dried chilli (chillie), tomatoes (medium), chickpeas (400 g), olive oil, salt and freshly ground pepper and parsley.

Peel and chop onion and garlic. Pepper, clean and cut into thin strips. Chilli pepper crumble. Cut in tomatoes, soak them in boiling water for several seconds, skimmed, remove seeds and cut flesh into small pieces. Chick peas drain.

Heat oil in a large frying pan and gently fry strips of pepper on a very low heat. Add onion, garlic, chilli and tomatoes and simmer uncovered for about 20 minutes until sauce has thickened, stirring frequently. Add chickpeas and co-heat for approx. 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Parsley above it finely cut. The chickpeas taste good with the stew with marinated pork.
