Chicory salad with vegetable disc


A tasty recipe. The vegetarian main course contains the following ingredients: mashed potatoes (750 g, frozen), chicory, winter carrot (about 250 g), mandarins, onion (in thin half rings), salad dressing (thousand islands (bottle 450 ml)), (sunflower) oil and vegetable disc (a 2 pieces).

Directions

  1. Heat the mashed potatoes according to the instructions on the package. Cut the underside of the stalk chicory and cut the chicory in half. Remove the hard core. Cut the chicory into narrow arches. Cut the winter carrot into thin strips. Peel the tangerines and cut into half slices.
  2. Put the chicory, winter carrot, mandarin and onion in a bowl. Stir in the salad dressing. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the vegetable slices according to the instructions on the package.
  3. Divide the chicory salad over 4 plates and place a vegetable disc next to it. Serve with the mashed potatoes.
