Chicory stew with pork steaks


A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, crumbly potatoes, fresh parsley (a 30 g), chicory, apples, (olive) oil, pork fillets à la minute (about 400 g), semi-skimmed milk and low-fat margarine.

Directions

  1. Peel potatoes, cut them into pieces, wash and boil for about 20 minutes with some salt.
  2. Chop minced parsley.
  3. Clean chicory and cut into strips.
  4. Peel the apples and remove the cores.
  5. Half cut apple into cubes and half in thin slices.
  6. Heat in wok oil and stir-fry approx.
  7. 4 minutes.
  8. Fry pork fillets grilling on both sides for 1 min.
  9. Heat milk in microwave oven for a few seconds.
  10. Drain potatoes and mash them with low-fat margarine and milk.
  11. Add chicory, parsley and apple cubes.
  12. Season the stew with salt and pepper.
  13. Sear apple slices and serve with pork steaks..
