Chicory with prunes


A tasty Dutch recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: chicory, prunes, pine nuts, olive oil, dried sage, balsamic vinegar, garden broth powder (pot) and pepper.

Directions

  1. Clean chicory and cut shrubs in length into 6 pieces.
  2. Plums cut in quarters.
  3. Roast in dry wok pine nuts, let cool on plate.
  4. Heat in wok oil.
  5. Heat the chicory pieces over a high heat for about 2 minutes.
  6. Add sage and prunes, shake well.
  7. Vinegar and 2 tablespoons water in wokkenschenken, stir in bouillon powder and heat for about 2 minutes.
  8. Season the chicory with pepper.
  9. Serve with game steaks and grilled meat..
