Christmas tree bread with cheese and herb butter

Mix the bread mix with half of the herb butter and the milk and knead into a firm dough.

Place the dough in a bowl and cover with a tea towel. Let rise for about 10 minutes in a warm place.

Divide the dough into 32 portions and roll into small balls.

Lay the bread balls on the baking tray loosely against each other in the shape of a Christmas tree.

Place a tea towel over the dough and leave to rise for about 30 minutes.

In the meantime, preheat the oven to 200ºC.

Bake the bread in the oven for about 15 minutes.

Remove from the oven and brush with the rest of the herb butter.

Sprinkle with the grated cheese and bake the bread in the oven for about 10 minutes until golden brown.

Sprinkle the bread generously with green herbs and possibly some extra cheese.
