Cod with potato and ham
A tasty French recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: fish, butter, onions (chopped), garlic (chopped), potatoes (bag 1 1/2 kg), thyme (fermented), bay leaf, chicken broth (from tablet), gruyere (cheese) (in thin slices), serrano ham (in strips), cod fillet (in four pieces), olive oil, fresh chives ((25 g) and finely chopped).

Ingredients
- 80 g butter
- 2 little onions shredded
- 1 toe garlic finely chopped
- 1 kg potatoes bag 1 1/2 kg
- 2 twigs thyme erased
- 1 laurel leaf
- 500 ml chicken bouillon from tablet
- 50 g gruyere (cheese) in thin slices
- 2 to stick serrano ham in strips
- 600 g cod fillet in four pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tray fresh chives (25 g), finely chopped

Directions

Melt 50 g of butter in a large pan and fry the onion and garlic for 20 minutes on low heat.

Meanwhile, peel the potatoes, rinse them and cut them into slices of 1/2 inch.

Put the potato slices with the thyme and the bay leaf in the pan with the onion-garlic mixture.

Scoop everything and add so much stock that the potato slices are just below.

Cook them, with the lid half on the pan, over low heat for about 25 minutes.

Remove the laurel.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Put the potato slices with the moisture from the pan into the baking dish and sprinkle with the cheese and half of the ham.

Put in the oven for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, sprinkle the cod with salt and pepper.

Heat the oil with the rest of the butter in a non-stick pan and fry the fish in just 6 minutes.

Turn halfway.

Sprinkle the chives over the potato dish.

Divide the rest of the ham over the cod and serve with the potato dish.
