Colored potato nuggets
A tasty Dutch recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: spinach (mixed cubes (frozen, 450 g), thawed), fresh basil (15 g), eggs, nutmeg (finely ground), mashed potatoes (2 x 88 g), spicy cheese ((cheddar or gruyere) ) and grated).

Let the spinach drain in a colander.

Press the moisture out well.

Grind the spinach with the basil and the eggs finely with the hand blender or in the food processor.

Season with the nutmeg, salt and (freshly ground) pepper.

Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.

Prepare the mashed potatoes according to the instructions on the packaging.

Spoon half of the spinach in the baking dish and scrape half of the puree over it, smooth and sprinkle with half of the cheese.

Repeat with the rest of the spinach, the puree and the cheese.

Put the baking dish in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the top turns golden brown.
