Directions

  1. Put the butter and sugar in a bowl and beat with a mixer in 5 min.
  2. Mix in the eggs and the vanilla extract. Add the flour and the salt and mix into a cohesive dough.
  3. Roll the dough between two sheets of baking paper into a piece of 1 cm thick and spread (between the baking paper) over a baking sheet. Put in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  4. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Remove the top layer of parchment paper and carefully cut the dough into 8 x 1 cm fries.
  5. Sprinkle with the rest of the sugar. Bake for about 20 minutes. The cake fries should not be too brown.
  6. Serve with the chocolate spread and strawberry jam.
