A tasty Dutch recipe. The vegetarian breakfast contains the following ingredients: orange (scrubbed), flour, white caster sugar, dried yeast (7 g), eggs (whipped), low-fat cottage cheese, butter (at room temperature), raisins, vanilla sugar, farmhouse cheese (in slices) and rosehip jam .

Directions

  1. Grate the peel of the orange.
  2. Sift the flour with 1 teaspoon of salt over a bowl and stir in the sugar and yeast.
  3. Add the eggs, quark and butter and knead a smooth dough with a mixer.
  4. Knead the raisins and the orange zest through the dough and form a ball.
  5. Let the ball in the bowl, covered with a damp cloth, rise for 30 minutes at room temperature.
  6. Divide the dough into twelve pieces and roll rolls of bread.
  7. Place the bread rolls on a greased baking sheet and let them rise under the damp cloth in 45 minutes until they are twice as large.
  8. Preheat the oven to 200 ºC.
  9. Fry the cottage cheese balls in 20-25 minutes.
  10. Allow them to cool down on the baking tray and top with farm cheese and a spoonful of jam..
