Creamy beetroot with meatballs


A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, large potatoes ((3 kg bag), in quarters), oil, minced beef (balls (385 g, 12 pieces)), onions (chopped), hache herbs (bag of 36 g), beetroot ( boiled (500 g), ground), crème fraîche (light (125 ml)) and raisins (bag 500 g).

Directions

  1. Cook the potatoes according to the instructions on the package.
  2. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the meatballs around brown.
  3. Take them out of the pan, spoon in the onions and fry them for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the hacheekruiden and 500 ml water and bring the gravy to the boil while stirring.
  5. Put the meatballs back in the pan and cover them for 15 minutes.
  6. Cut the beetroot into slices and into strips.
  7. Put the beetroot in a pan with the crème fraîche and the raisins and heat the whole while stirring.
  8. Serve the meatballs with gravy and the potatoes..
