Spring stew with kibbling

A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: fish, oil, fried quibbling (300 g, sustainable catch chilled), cooking potatoes (crumbly (bag 800 g)), garden peas (with carrots (1 kg bag, freezer)), lamb's lettuce (75 g) and onions (in half rings).

Directions

  1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a frying pan and fry the kibbling according to the instructions on the package. Cook the potatoes according to the instructions on the package. Cook the garden peas with carrots according to the instructions on the package. If necessary, remove the stalks from the lamb's lettuce.
  2. Fry the onion in a frying pan in the rest of the oil until golden brown. Pour 100 ml of water and bring it to a boil. Drain the potatoes and puree them. Spoon the onion with moisture through it. Drain the garden peas with carrots and scoop them with the lamb's lettuce through the mashed potatoes. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Serve the spring stew with the fried quibble.
