Crispy plaice fillet with apple salsa

Additional needs: food processor.

Wash the apples, cut them in four and remove the cores.

Cut the apples into small cubes and the bunch in small rings.

Finely chop the parsley.

Mix the apple cubes in a bowl with lemon juice, spring onion, parsley, thyme and some freshly ground black pepper to form a salsa.

Let stand for at least 15 minutes, so that the flavors can withdraw.

Crumble the slices of bread into the food processor and spread the bread crumbs over a flat plate.

Beat the egg in a deep plate.

Rub the plaice fillets with salt, freshly ground pepper and mustard.
-
First take the fillets through the egg mixture and then roll them through the bread crumbs.

Press the crumb well.

Heat the butter in a large frying pan until the foam drips and fry the plaice fillet in 6-8 minutes until golden brown and done, then turn them after 3-4 minutes with a pancake knife.

Serve the plaice fillets with the apple salsa.

Tasty with green beans and baked potatoes.
