Croissant with chestnut mushrooms
A tasty French recipe. The vegetarian lunch contains the following ingredients: chestnut mushrooms (250 g AH), butter or margarine, madeira, whipped cream, salt, pepper, croissants and lamb's lettuce with beetroot (75 g AH).

Preheat the oven to 200 ºC or gas mark 4.

Wipe the mushrooms with kitchen paper and cut into slices.

Heat butter in frying pan.

Mushrooms brown in 4 to 5 minutes, evaporate moisture.

Stir in Madeira and whipped cream, bring to the boil and simmer for approx.

1 minute.
-
Season with salt and pepper.

Cut open croissants in length.
-
Fill the croissants with mushrooms and heat in the middle of the oven for about 6 minutes.

Spread out four plates.

Place filled croissants on top..
