Croissant with chestnut mushrooms


A tasty French recipe. The vegetarian lunch contains the following ingredients: chestnut mushrooms (250 g AH), butter or margarine, madeira, whipped cream, salt, pepper, croissants and lamb's lettuce with beetroot (75 g AH).

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ºC or gas mark 4.
  2. Wipe the mushrooms with kitchen paper and cut into slices.
  3. Heat butter in frying pan.
  4. Mushrooms brown in 4 to 5 minutes, evaporate moisture.
  5. Stir in Madeira and whipped cream, bring to the boil and simmer for approx.
  6. 1 minute.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Cut open croissants in length.
  9. Fill the croissants with mushrooms and heat in the middle of the oven for about 6 minutes.
  10. Spread out four plates.
  11. Place filled croissants on top..
